Answer QuestionThe Jensen JRV9000 head unit that's included with the fairing is rated at 200W / 50W x 4, so an aftermarket AMP isn't required. This is especially true if you leave the rest of the sound system as factory original. Now, if you do have aftermarket Harley loudspeakers on the trunk or lower speaker pods, then yes - we'd recommend matching an amplifier to your bike's specific setup in order to get the best possible sound from your ride. If you've got aftermarket stereo parts on your bike, let us know what you've got and we'll be sure to get you set up with the correct matching component to maximize your tunes!
