Good price, that said, they were still more costly than they should have been. Same can be said for all motorcycle exhaust. The sound is great. Really transforms the Scout. Takes it from sounding like a Jetsons car to sounding like a real motorcycle should sound. One thing to be aware of, the black finish on the mufflers is way off in color from the factory head pipe heat shields. I wish they were anywhere close to a match. Other than that, pretty happy with these mufflers.

Great sounding exhaust.

Nice quality for what you get but price is pretty steep for slip ons. I remember when a full exhaust was the same, but I suppose times change.... Install was easy with the help of YouTube. The Vance and Hines instructions aren't great. I suggest loosing installing everything onto the backing plate/bracket and then installing that onto the bike. Sound is loud (wear earplugs and hope you have understanding neighbors). I feel like I lost 5-10% torque off the line but the sound is worth it and it seems to have more power in the mid and top ends. Looks the part too.

These pipes are perfect for me! On my sportster I used to have the big radius systems and they were so loud! These slipons are just enough to get the motor sounding deeper and letting my presence known in town without being too annoying or deafening.
