The name says it all. The Vance and Hines Pro Pipe is the ultimate in performance for your Harley-Davidson big twin, period. With over twenty years of evolution, the Pro Pipe has all the ingredients for making power; stepped headers, an oversized collector and long megaphone muffler. The latest generation Pro Pipe now features their innovative PCX technology which integrates a chambered high-flow catalyst in the megaphone for a bigger boost in torque and the bone shaking roar of a drag bike racing down the strip.

Vance & Hines make some of the best exhausts on the market I've used them for over 30 years. Couldn't be better

Answer QuestionMaybe - fuel delivery will certainly be a lot closer to ideal if your bike is already setup for that Pro Pipe than if you were coming from a completely stock fuel map. Still, if you expect to get the best possible throttle response and engine performance out of the new exhaust, we always recommend that you adjust fuel delivery to go with the new components. For your bike, the easiest tool would be a V&H FP4 tuner. With that, you'll easily be able to build a fuel map that's almost perfect for this, or any other exhaust.

Answer QuestionSo long as you have the stock exhaust on your bike, you won't need anything else, hardware-wise, to fit this exhaust to any machine you select from our fit guide. These V&H pipes, like pretty much every exhaust we sell, often require that you re-use the OEM exhaust mounting brackets &etc. to fit 'em up. Other than that, you'll probably want to adjust fuel delivery if you expect to get the most out of the new exhaust. For that, we recommend Vance & Hines FP4 fuel tuner. They're really easy to install (five minutes of work, if you take a smoke break) and even easier to program using the free FP4 app. Combined, you get an awesome exhaust and you'll maximize the power potential of that new pipe with the FP4!

Answer QuestionThere is an exhaust catalyst fitted to this system in the form of Vance & Hines' PCX. It flows more gas that the OEM configuration, and because they're further downstream than the stock location, there's less heat felt on your legs, too. It's actually a rather clever design.

Answer QuestionYes, it would be recommended to have the bike tuned or install a tuner along with the exhaust system.
