Very simple to install, and on my first ride I could tell a difference, 2017 Harley road glide with a 107 M8. The idle was steady and smooth and I could feel the bike pull more than normal, nothing crazy but you could feel the difference. If you just want to do a intake and exhaust swap this is definitely the way to go for a decent price.

Great item! It was a little tricky to install because of my electronic ignition. All three light are suppose to come on and stay on when you turn the ignition on. With my bike they only stayed on for a few seconds. When I started the bike the green light stayed on, as it was suppose to. My bike backed fired when I came off the throttle in certain gears. This item corrected that problem. I like this item and highly recommend it.

Bought a problem 1200 Sporty for the wife. It had been sitting for a while. After cleaning up the fuel system it had power but was just nasty stuttering at neutral throttle. Easy install, a true plug and play with no mapping, bike is running great but it's only been a few days so time will tell, I put a cobra timer on my 09 street glide in 2010 and it gave me 90,000 plus miles with no problem, traded that bike in for a 2022 in 2022 just installed this in March of 2024 so hopefully I'll write another review in 90,000 miles on my future bike. The quality of this seems a little cheap but the price is unbeatable.

Works great. Helped a great deal with the low speed throttle. The shell of the tuner is made of very cheap plastic and will definitely break/crack easily. The instructions state once you turn power to the bike on the three lights will remain on until you crank it. Was not the case in my situation. The lights just blinked on so it made me think I did something wrong. Turned a 10 minute hook up to a lot of wasted time.

Very easy straightforward install. Installed on an 02 VTX 1800c that I just acquired with aftermarket pipes and intake. Prior to install had issues with deceleration popping and poor throttle response. After install bike runs and sounds 100% better than it did. I'm very happy with product. The only reason I might tinker with the factory settings would be to increase the MPG, but as I said it's a new bike for me so I haven't got that far yet.

I have a Honda fury that has An RPM limiter this product does not overcome that, I was under the impression it would. However It did solve several issues with new pipes and air cleaner very Necessary system without getting computer reflashed. I live in a rural area so having that type of a service done is not an easy task. Getting details and straight answers without learning the history of the world is not Possible yet. So I am grateful for Bolt on applications, I just would liked to have known if it would solve that specific issue but there is no way to find out for sure without spending the money and putting it on and then taking it off and putting another one on, welcome to 2024.

After a brief conversation with one of their techs to determine which controller to order I was pleased to find out the less expensive controller was the one to buy that worked best for my situation. All I can really say about this product is WOW! This is the second time that I have used the Fi2000 EFI Controller. The first time was on my 2012 Harley forty-eight. This time, it was a little easier installing it on to my son's 2014 Harley Sportster 1200 Custom. The directions are very straight forward. I connected everything as the directions described and let it idle for a little while. As soon as I took the motorcycle out on to the road, I could feel and tell the immediate difference than before. The motorcycle is my son's and so as soon as he rode it for the first time with the new Auto-Tuner, he was absolutely amazed at the difference. He was beyond happy. We had installed the Vance and Hines 2-into-2 Big Radius pipes and the Cobra PowerFlo Air Intake system onto his bike and the tuner did all the tuning we needed to make it run solid. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to go through the hassle of hooking up a computer to your tuner and dialing everything in. This was literally just plug and play. Great product!

Answer QuestionYes, it's pretty straightforward adding this kit to your machine and then configuring it to your exact needs. There are only three knobs on the device itself and the included instructions do a pretty good job of explaining which ones, and how to, adjust them, to get the best performance out of your bike. And no, you need not visit any tuning shops to do any of that work. It's a really nice device!

Answer QuestionIf your machine doesn't have a tuner on it, then yes, this fuel controller will most certainly help. You've changed the bike's configuration quite a bit from stock, and consequently, the OEM fuel maps can't keep up with the fueling needs of the bike, which would explain the issues you're currently experiencing. A few minutes of configuring this device would solve that problem!

2008 Vulcan 1600 Classic doesn't have O2 sensors.
Answer QuestionNo, there's no need to add oxygen sensors, or any other components to your machine in order for this fuel controller to work correctly. It will be plugged directly into the Vulcan's wire harness without the need to permanently modify anything. If you're comfortable with doing an oil change, the operation might take you ten minutes. The included instructions will show you how to install the device, with diagrams, and configure it to your machine's exact needs.

Answer QuestionThe "I" was dropped starting with the 2007 model year machines since all Harley-Davidson motorcycles went to fuel injection that year. The carbureted bikes were no longer in production. A little confusing, for sure! If you were to select the 2007 Harley Davidson FLHTCU Ultra Classic Electra Glide fuel controller from our fit guide, you'd receive the correct tuner to fit your bike.

Answer QuestionThese devices must be connected at all times. The Fi2000R fuel controller works by monitoring throttle position and engine RPM continuously. It then takes those signals to adjust fuel delivery to provide the best possible throttle response and engine output. It's a small device, so connecting it to your bike and placing it out of the way isn't difficult at all. The included instructions describe exactly how to go about this and, usually, installation takes about 30 minutes, with most of the work being tank removal/replacement and maybe opening a side panel or two.
