Answer QuestionThat depends one the belt width it is that you choose. If you're going with the 1-5/8" design, then yes, the OEM primary cover, or any aftermarket primary cover that fits in place of the OEM unit - will fit without issue. It's the 3" wide variant in which you will not be able to use the stock primary cover. There simply isn't enough room for the belt, clutch and pulley to fit.

Answer QuestionSome assembly and adjustment of the clutch is required to complete the installation, but it's not difficult if you're comfortable with installing a whole belt drive. The included instructions include all the information you need to set up the ball bearing clutch correctly. So long as you follow those guidelines, you'll have no problem getting this to work for your needs.
