Vance & Hines Hi-Output Stepped Slip-on Muffler

Well as expected from any V&H product! The sound was bold and rich, a little pop and crackle make you think sport bike a dramatic change from the stock can. Long and lean makes the bike "look" fast and light. Louder than expected on the freeway but getting the spark arrestor and according to reports it will help. Would have liked all stainless steel hardware. In the end throttle response feels improved and the sound is no longer stock and that was the plan!

I got tired of the wind noise being louder than the exhaust when riding the Pan America. So figured I would give the exhaust a shot. I'm very happy with the all the welds and the finish of the stainless steel on the system. The sound is excellent and not to loud, but cancels out the wind noise from the fairing on the highway.

This system really brings out the best in this bike. Rev's even more freely in the high rev band and sounds great doing it. Be advised that you should definitely have a bike lift to install this exhaust system. The nameplate was installed in the wrong spot on the muffler, but Vance & Hines stood by their product and replaced it. If you want a quiet exhaust this one is not for you, it snarls and pops.

I feel like for the price it is a very nice slip on exhaust! It sounds great as I'm ride and was easily installed!

Clear and easy to follow instructions. Kit came with everything needed except loctite. Looks good and sounds great, fairly mellow tone while cruising that isn't obtrusive inside your helmet. But it barks with authority in Sport mode when you lean on the throttle hard.

V&H has always made a good product for Harleys. This one is no different. Good sound. Not obnoxious. Decent price compared to other brands.

Looks great in person at first I was thinking this is not the ideal look for my bike, but after installing it it looks decent and completes the bike! The sound is popping too! Place the bike in sport mode for that snappy throttle response which makes this muffler cracks and pops!

Went on easy. I had to slightly modify the modified the muffler bolt due to the Jesse Luggage paniers. Not a deep a tone as I would have liked but still sound good.

Allows the Pan America Special to sound like a motorcycle without being obnoxious. Best price for slip on that is an OEM replacement, street legal. Easy install, even my brother in law could manage it.
