Can you just plug this in and run or do you have to program it first ?
No special equipment required! The unit has switch-selectable curves and rev limit settings on the device itself. It's only when you want to dig into completely programmable curves that you'll need to a PC and a Dynatek DIPK-4 programming kit, which is sold separately.
For most tuning applications, the switch-set curves will be more than sufficient. It's only when you're getting into big builds that you may want to utilize the PC-programmed curves.
