Great module, was having issues with crankshaft position sensor, replaced it after original quit. Put less than 500 miles and was having same issue (would run ok until rpm’s neared redline and engine would miss severely and often die then had to let cool). Replaced it with OEM part and would get vin error. Ordered Dyna 2000, installed. Runs great @ recommended setting and love increased rev limit. Simple plug and play installation, highly recommend!

I bought it used and he said it has the 1200 conversation. Bigger pistons than the original ones that came with the bike.
Answer QuestionAll 2004 XL models, 883 and 1200, use the same Dynatek ignition module, so it really wouldn't matter what 2004 Harley XL you chose. So long as the machine you've got has the OEM CDI and wire harness on it, it should work!
