Now I consider myself a pretty good mechanic this is not an easy job it's difficult to get the bolts coming through straight up with the beveled washers but those washers are necessary I did put two fender washers stacked on top of each other in between the outer and inner shells held With double sided tape. Luggage rack looks great and is rock solid. I can't wait to try it out on our trip to the Sturgis 83rd rally!
