Do I still need the mid pipe to connect to my slip on or does this eliminate the need for the mid pipe all together?

These headers for the Yamaha YZF-R6 completely replace everything in front of your slip-on muffler. So long as the R6 slip-on exhaust you have on there right now fits the OEM headers, you don't need the mid-pipe or anything to fit this exhaust to your bike.
