I installed this product on my 22 Harley Street Glide Special. It is the model for "without a lower fairing". I installed it as per instructions plus I had to remove the crash bar to install. The most difficult portion of the install was getting that little cotter pin replaced. As for fit and finish it is very good quality I would compare it to OEM. I highly recommend this product if you are over 6' the brake pedal is moved out front of your footboard and not over the top of your boot.

Brake pedal is awesome, extremely well built and designed. Installation was fairly easy took no time at all. The finish on the brake pedal is beautiful. It does extend the brake pedal. Not alot proably about an inch. Wish it was a little more extened. But really help it from stick location. I hated the stock one. Hurts my feet after about an hour riding. This one does not. Plus you don't have to raise your foot as high with this one. It lowers it also. Which was really nice. Was a little bit of a pain to put on first time. If I had to do it again it would easier. It fit great and works great. I would recommend to anybody that's got a street glide, it's a game changer over stock.

What is the difference between with and without the lower fairing??

I am asking because I do not have a lower faring at the moment but in the near future i will be installing lower fairing
The difference is the length of the brake pedal. Bikes with lower fairings require the use of a brake pedal that's shorter so as not to strike that fairing when you press the rear brake.
