I am in a dealership. Instead of replacing the complete wire harness, I replace just the bad part, the plug that goes into the voltage regulator. I just need to order several more of these.

Do you have to solider the pins to the wire

Answer QuestionUsually you would just need to crimp the wires to the new pins. It wouldn't hurt to drop a little solder on them just to ensure they stay put.
How do you clamp the wires into the brass connectors?
