I am in a dealership. Instead of replacing the complete wire harness, I replace just the bad part, the plug that goes into the voltage regulator. I just need to order several more of these.

Yes, this kit would be to repair the machine side wire harness.

Do you have to solider the pins to the wire

Usually you would just need to crimp the wires to the new pins. It wouldn't hurt to drop a little solder on them just to ensure they stay put.

How do you clamp the wires into the brass connectors?

You would need to crimp the connectors around the wires with proper crimping pliers.
