This muffler comes with a pipe between the header pipe and the muffler. You will want to get some exhaust wrap to take place of the heat shields. I cut down the factory muffler shield and mounted it to the new muffler. You will need smaller hose clamps if you choose to do this. Sounds great and I am happy with the results.
