1995 xlh 883 with 1200 kit heads jugs and pistons
There's no need, so long as the runout is within spec, there's no need to change the pinion gear. These cams will work well with all remaining OEM components.

S&S big bore kits for the 883 work with pretty much everything that fits OEM 1200cc XL models, including these cams. You shouldn't have any problem fitting these to your machine. Other than adjusting fuel delivery to get the most out of the cams, you really don't need anything else other than gaskets for doing the actual installation.
