S&S Easy Start Chain Drive Cam Chest Kit

The S&S Cam Chest has a high-quality finish and was installed flawlessly. The install video gave me step-by-step instructions. I am very pleased with the added performance. My 2007 FLSTN has much more low-end torque, which was the very reason for the build. I'm sure the high-volume oil pump is also a huge upgrade, but I won't notice the change until the next riding season. I would recommend this kit to anyone with a stock 96" twin cam looking for more " get out of the way" power without taking the heads off.

I put 551's and a 97" big bore in my 04 Road King and made it a much better bike. Torque from idle to 4,500 rpm which is where I do my riding.

I've had this kit installed for 10K miles, and now I can review it. I wanted more "touring" low-end torque and better passing power. This kit delivered precisely what I wanted, with a slight increase in MPG and 30 PSI oil pressure at hot idle. This kit includes everything you need. Highest quality. Relatively easy to install. (You will need a cam bearing tool to remove and install the new cam bearings). Starting is easier, but I never really had a problem with my FLHTCU starting. I strongly recommend a tuner if you install this kit. I have a Zippers Thundermax, and Zippers gave me a new map that worked spot on. I'm very happy with this kit.
