Mikuni RS Series Radial Flat Slide Carburetors

Designed for in-line four cylinder performance motorcycle applications, the Mikuni RS series radial flat slide carburetors offer superior horsepower gains with their maximum flowing smoothbore induction tract and radial flat slide design. An adjustable accelerator pump system helps to provide instant throttle response particularly in the lower RPM range. The RS series carburetors feature a compact design which is lighter than other performance carburetors and uses readily available Mikuni jets.

  • Check carb spacing (77mm-93mm-77mm) to verify fitments, larger-diameter spigot may require different mounting flanges to complete installation (not included)
  • Designed for inline four-cylinder performance to offer higher horsepower gains with the world's top motorcycle road race and drag race teams
  • Smooth, controllable throttle response with precise fuel-metering demands with high-volume fuel/air required by race engines
  • Flat throttle valve design provides the strongest signal for precise and instantaneous throttle response
  • Adjustable accelerator pump and adjustable idle screw
  • Adjustable throttle return spring for precise throttle feedback pressure
  • Enrichment starter system for easier cold starting
  • Jet needle has easy adjustment slots for quick tuning
  • Float bowl vent allows atmospheric pressure into float bowl for optimal fuel flow

Questions & Answers

Ask Question

Can i easily put the K&N filter on them

Oh yes, you most certainly can. These carburetors and pod-type air filters, and especially red K&N filters, go together really well!

Answer Question

Are these carbs factory set , do they need adjustment after installation?

Because I need one..lol

You can expect to need to make a few adjustments for this carb to run right on any machine you select from our fit guide. Regrettably, I've never been able to bolt on a new carburetor and have it run right out of the box. They've been close, for sure - but there's always a bit of tweaking required to get things running right.
