Is this the bolt that goes on the center stem that comes thru the frame tube

the fork stem that I have has an internal thread and needs a bolt with external threads my bike is a 1974 sportster 1000
Answer QuestionIn the case of a '74 Sportster 1000, the steering stem bolt is to be fitted through the center portion of the upper triple clamp. The bolt you see photographed when you select your machine from our fit guide is the unit you'd receive with your order. As you can see, it's externally threaded to fit at the center of the top triple clamp on that machine. From your description, this would be the bolt you need.
