Worked real good no more leaking

Fork seals

The fork seal stopped the leak so far.

Does the job!

These installed easily and are holding up after some very long and rough trail rides. As long as they're holding oil, that's all I can ask.

Questions & Answers

Ask Question

Are these hard to replace

I have a 81 GS 450 and I've never replace seals in a motorcycle any pointers or anyting to help me I am ordering these now

Replacing fork seals is certainly not an insurmountable task. Like anything, it's always best to study the process before diving in. To help you fully understand what's involved, have a look at the Haynes Shop Repair Manual for the Suzuki GS450 as it has all of the information you need to fully understand whether or not servicing the forks is for you. It really depends on whether or not you're comfortable with the work. If you can do things like change the oil on your machine, or servicing the carburetors, replacing the fork seals isn't that tricky. The service guide will show you what tools are required and provide excellent step-by-step guidance for getting the fork service done. Plus, it's nice to have it on hand should you need to do other service work on your bike.
