Questions & Answers

Ask Question

Is the kit for both forks or just for one?

This kit includes enough seals to service one set of forks. That is to say, there are enough parts to replace the seals in two forks.

Answer Question

How are these installed? Bevel up or down? Ring above or below the seal? Is the ring just for driving it or does it stay installed?

2006 honda shadow vt750c

These particular fork seals are unique when compared to the OEM seals on your machine. On the backside of the package, you'll find a diagram that shows exactly how they are to be installed. The shims (metal rings) go on top top of the seal, not on the bottom like many other models. They're designed to float up and down with the fork to from the leak proof seal.
