Answer QuestionGMA brake calipers are designed to work with stock brake lines, so you needn't change that out. With regard to the master cylinder, the 5/8" bore is required since there are actually two pistons in the caliper. They're not of the single piston sliding type as is found on some models. That extra volume is required to move enough fluid so the brake will function effectively.
