This 14T sprocket fits perfectly. Nice fit on the shaft splines, not too loose, not too tight. This is as low of a tooth count that will fit a 74 XL250 without grinding the engine case around the shaft and using a spacer between the sprocket and the case and using an e-ring retainer instead of the 2 bolt plate.

Pleased with this purchase. It is actually the second one I bought, the first, although packaged as a 520 chain size was a 530, and made in China (bought elsewhere). Yours is a better fit on the counter shaft and is made in USA. a little more expensive, but who cares when you get quality.
