The right-side peg fits about as close as possible to the upper muffler. You can see it in the picture once you select your exact bike from our fit guide. There's room for it to operate, but we recommend you advise your passenger to watch their shoes so as not to melt anything onto the exhaust. 

It comes down to interference - that is to say, you can't have two objects occupying the same area. In the case of forward controls, especially on machines wherein those parts bolt to the engine cases rather than the frame, it becomes impossible to route pipes around those controls. It has been a problem before on Sportster models, and for this reason, we cannot say these will work with your particular configuration.

Everything you need to fit this to any of the bikes in our fit guide is included with the exhaust. You may, however, have to re-use some of the stock exhaust components to complete the installation. In other words, so long as you have the original exhaust and all of its original parts, you have everything you need to install this on your bike.

Yes, as is noted in the item's description, this exhaust comes with all required installation hardware and instructions. That said, you may have to re-use some of your bike's existing exhaust mounting hardware: bolts, brackets and such. So long as you have the original exhaust on your bike, then you've got everything you need to fit these pipes to your bike.

The Cobra exhaust systems do not include header gaskets. Typically, you can reuse the originals if careful with removal of your current system. Otherwise, you can always purchase a new set through our site.

The 909's run too close to the bike in order to provide enough clearance for fitting forward controls. It's been tried more than once ... to no avoil!

Unfortunately, the forward controls interfere with these pipes on 1986-2003 Sportster models. You can have one or the other, but not both in the case of the 909 exhaust system. So be sure to choose carefully!

In the case of the 2018 Fat Boy, yes - you will be able to use the OEM passenger peg with this exhaust.

These exhausts are built with enough clearance so as to allow you to keep the OEM passenger pegs on your. You won't need to relocate or otherwise modify the right side passenger peg in order to fit this to your Sportster.

You most certainly can! The choice is yours as there's no requirement from the manufacturer to run the bike with, or without the baffles fitted.

Yes, there is enough room to clear the right side passenger footpeg when installing this exhaust. You'll have to remove the peg in order to pull the stock exhaust of your bike, but then it goes right back in place without issue and functions as normal.

The bend of this pipe is well clear for both mids or forward controls on the Sportster models listed to fit. The lower two bolts shown in the side view that are bright silver are where the forward controls would bolt on to the frame. They will have sufficient clearance to get them mounted.

Anytime you install a full system it is highly recommended to install a fuel tuner. Especially if you plan on modifying the air intake or cams down the road.

We can only guarantee it fits the stock bike in a two wheel configuration. Provided nothing is in the way of its installation it may not be an issue. Its a very short exhaust system.

You should have no problem mounting these Cobra Speedster 909's to the 2019 XL1200NS Sportster 1200 Iron. There is sufficient clearance to work with mids or forward controls. The freeway bar should be well clear of the front header.

For machines equipped with oxygen sensors in their stock form, yes, the 909 Speedsters will have a provision for fitting those as well. That is to say, you can certainly re-use the OEM oxygen sensors on these pipes if your bike has them on the stock exhaust system.

There are no permanent modifications required in order to install this exhaust on your machine. That said, the only thing you'll want to do is purchase a Cobra Fi2000R Fuel Controller for your FXDB Dyna Street Bob Cobra Speedster 909 exhaust system. In this way, you can be assured of the best throttle response and engine power output.

Yes, all Cobra exhausts come with provisions for fitting the OEM oxygen sensor on any machine you select from our fit guide. For the 2016 Harley Sportster XL883N Iron, you'll be able to plug the stock O2 sensors straight into the exhaust without the need to make any permanent modifications to your bike. Just remove the stock sensors from the stock exhaust and plug 'em into the Cobra 909 - it's as simple as that!

All of the pipes Cobra builds are designed around original factory controls. It's difficult to say with certainty that it will fit with your aftermarket floorboards and controls. Though, as a rule of thumb, provided your controls use the standard mid-mount point in conjunction with the forward control point, it's likely it will work with this exhaust. Still, if clearance is tight with your current exhaust, then it's likely to become an issue here.
