Love the sound, style, and performance gain. Must have a tuner or have bike tuned for best performance. Sound is low and deep at idle ,but once you WOT they roar. Best Buy and upgrade in my opinion. Must be mechanically inclined these were a $&@“ to install but do able. Just use clean gloves during installation to prevent and staining on the chrome.

Answer QuestionYes, we most certainly do. We recommend the Cobra Fi2000R Fuel Tuner for use with all Cobra exhausts. They're developed by the same manufacturer to work flawlessly with their systems and are easy to install and setup for your bike's particular configuration.

I'm looking for 2 into 1 performance but given the choice between the 2, I would choose the quieter one.
Answer QuestionIn terms of performance, both exhaust systems, when properly tuned - will provide a noticeable difference in terms of engine performance. If you're concerned about sound output, the quieter one is going to be the RPT exhaust, for two reasons. First, the muffler has more packing volume to absorb sound waves and second, the exit is further behind the rider on the RPT than that of the El Diablo's. Everything else the same, sound output, when measured at the same distance from the muffler - probably isn't going to very noticeable to the human ear, but the location of the exit will make a noticeable difference. For that reason alone, go for the RPT.

Answer QuestionIt's all in the muffler design. The standard RPT mufflers have a 4" diameter body while the HP variant has a 3-1/4" diameter muffler body. The smaller muffler body provides for a sharper exhaust note that's also a bit louder.

Answer QuestionNo, these exhausts are designed to work with all of the stock components for the machine you choose from our fit guide. There's no need to buy any oxygen sensor wire extensions in order to fit this exhaust to your bike. It's all in the box!

I have seen on another website that these are supposed to be incompatible with the pillion foot pegs but the photos look like the pillion still has heaps of room for their feet on the pegs?
Answer QuestionIt all depends on what model you have. Most Dyna models can keep the passenger pegs. Sporty models will no longer be able to use passenger pegs without modification or a relocation kit installed.

Answer QuestionAll of Cobra's exhausts are designed to work with the stock oxygen sensor on any machine you select from our fit guide. In other words, if your bike comes from the factory with an O2 sensor(s), then this exhaust will have a provision for fitting that component in the exhaust with no permanent modifications required. And, to help you out, the included step-by-step instructions will clearly explain how to go about fixing the oxygen sensor on this pipe.

Answer QuestionSince the forward controls mount in a manner that doesn't interfere with the exhaust, , you should have no problem installing this Dyna FXDLS Cobra RPT 2:1 exhaust on your machine in its current configuration.
