Mine came with the switch. Its that flat square type you see on most bikes. No wire leads just the switch, so you don't need to order the pressure switch.

Answer QuestionFitting this to a 2010 Triumph Thruxton 900, should be no problem. It'll bolt onto the OEM clip-ons without issue as it fits 7/8" diameter handlebars. The master cylinder comes completely assembled, and ready to install, the piston, spring and rubber hose and fluid reservoir is all in the box. All you have to do is bolt it up to your bike, fill it with brake fluid (we recommend Motul RBF600) and bleed it so you're all set.

is the piston, spring, rubber included/ assembled?
Answer QuestionFitting this to a ZX-636B1/B2 (I miss mine!) is not recommended as this particular master cylinder isn't really powerful enough to handle any bike with two front brake calipers. For your machine, we recommend the Nissin Radial Front Brake Master Cylinder Kit with a 19mm bore as that will have enough power to stop that machine. Both master cylinders come completely assembled, and ready to install, the piston, spring and rubber hose and fluid reservoir is all in the box. All you have to do is bolt it up to your bike, fill it with brake fluid and bleed it so you're all set.

Answer QuestionNo, there is no brake light switch included with any Nissin front brake master cylinder we sell. In order to have a brake light function when using this master cylinder, you'll need to order a 10 mm x 1.25 mm thread pitch K&S Hydraulic Brake Light Switch and wire it up to your machine's brake light harness lead.

Yamaha XJ750
Answer QuestionThis master cylinder would be an excellent match for your machine as the '81 US-market Yamaha XJ750 Seca shipped from the factory with a 5/8" front brake master cylinder bore. So long as you were to choose that bore diameter from our fit guide, you'd receive the correct brake master cylinder bore to stop your bike effectively.
By Victor
Answer QuestionIf you were to choose the 14mm bore for the 2011 Triumph Bonneville SE, the master cylinder in question would certainly be suitable for the task. Generally speaking, front brake master cylinders with a 14mm bore are more than up to the task of stopping a bike with a single front brake disc. Consequently, you'd find the Nissin master cylinder quite suitable for your needs.
By Patrick
Answer QuestionYes, the 14mm bore master cylinder would indeed be the correct size master cylinder for the 2016 Honda CBR500F.
