The Power Commander FC is a plug-n-play fuel management device pre-programmed with Make/Model specific maps. In addition, the Power Commander FC has the added ability to modify or change these maps on the fly without a computer.
Users can literally select between a Power Commander FC Map, custom-built maps, or even fine tune low, mid or high rpm ranges while sitting on the bike and without plugging into a computer. Standard +/- 10% increments from selected map settings, different ranges are available using the supplied Control Center software.
Users can also load up to 10 of their personally built Power Maps into the Power Commander FC and select between them while in the saddle, eliminating the need to reboot with the computer every time a new map is desired.

I have a 2016 Honda Fury looking to perchance the, Cobra Speedster Slashdown Exhaust System in Chrome and the Fi2000R EFI Controller. Wanting to know would I need the Dynojet Power Commander FC Fuel Controller also?

Yes, it would be recommended to use a fuel controller with those modifications. This FC fuel controller would be a good fit for that bike with those mods.

If you're putting a full exhaust system on your bike, then yes, you will need to adjust fuel delivery if you expect the engine to run correctly. Hi,I am runnining with a Cobra Fi2000r currently inwhich it is not supposed to effect the idle,but kind of does, my question im aware of the dyno jet power commander pcfc, has conections for install to the throttle position sensor, will this delete this problem of idle up and down at times, I have a 2017 yamaha bolt.

This Dynojet FC fuel controller is essentially the same item as the Cobra FI2000R fuel controller, just produced by Dynojet. Both have potentiometer adjustments settings, neither system adjusts fueling at idle. If you are having an issue with idle surging, it is likely due to the system running a little rich and the O2 sensors are sending a signal back to lean out the system and you are hearing the cyclic adjustments of the air fuel mixture it is very common to get a slight fluctuation in idle with a fuel tuner installed.

While you can probably get away with installing the exhaust by itself, to get the best possible throttle response and engine performance, we always recommend modifying fuel delivery. And the Dynojet Power Commander FC is an excellent way of doing that. Basically, any time you change the way air gets into or out of, the motor, you'll want to adjust fueling appropriately to maximize any performance gains available from the new setup.
Do you need to have a power commander 5 or similar mod for this to work or does this work on its own?

The Power Commander FC is a standalone unit. There's no need to purchase any additional equipment in order to install it on your machine. It's basically a stripped-down Power Commander that doesn't require a computer to make fueling adjustments. All of the pots on the unit allow you to make quickly make the changes you require. You can still override those adjustments by downloading maps from the Power Commander website, but that's not required in order to use the device.
Yes, each kit comes with a set of easy-to-follow instructions along with all required installation hardware. Most often, the instructions have illustrated pictures as well, so you can see the nuances of getting your machine set up with this useful too.
