Motul 5100 Synthetic-Blend 4T Motor Oil
Technosynthese lubricant based on Ester-Technology. Anti-wear properties to improve gear protection and engine life time. Suitable for street & road bikes, trails, off road bikes, enduro, trials bikes fitted with 4 stroke engines, integrated gearbox or not, wet or dry clutch, engines meeting Euro 2 or Euro 3 emission regulation, fitted with exhaust gas after treatment systems: catalytic converters, air injection into exhaust pipe.
Other uses: street bikes without catalytic converters, scooters, ATV, mopeds and more
Performance
Technosynthese lubricant reinforced by Ester base stock to warranty anti-wear properties and improve gear protection and life time. Improved oil film resistance at high temperatures. Low Phosphorus and sulfur content for better operating conditions of catalytic converters required to meet last emission regulation.
JASO MA approved to warranty a perfect lock up of wet clutch. Easy gear shifting.
Recommendations
Drain interval: according to manufacturer's recommendations and tune to your own use. Can be mixed with synthetic or mineral lubricants.

Which motul oil do yo recommend for a 2012 Kawasaki Z1000 Street bike

Answer QuestionIn the case of the 2010 Z1000 oil requirements, Kawasaki calls for any conventional, semi-synthetic or full-synthetic oil that meets JASO MA standards. The oil you're asking about certainly meets those requirements. The recommended viscosity for the Z1000 is 10W-40 of which, you will need 3.8 liters if you were to change the oil filter along with the oil. Motul's 5100 oil comes in a 4 liter bottle, so you'll have plenty of it there. Also, don't forget to change the oil filter. In particular, we recommend the HiFlo Filtro Z100 Kawasaki oil filter line.
