Answer QuestionIn the case of Mustang's backrest, the skirt edge simply refers to whether or not the seat is studded. If you were to select the studded skirt edge, which isn't available for all models - you'll notice that the studs run the circumference of the seat along the uppermost arch. Everything else - the material and shape of the seat, is the same for both the studded and plain designs.
