EBC CSK clutch spring kits include either coil wound or diaphragm type clutch springs as required for your specific application. The extra spring tension helps increase clutch life since the extra tension helps reduce premature wear. Proper spring size and tension for each application is thoroughly tested by EBC to ensure consistent spring performance over a wide range of riding conditions.
Spiral wound springs are made from heat-treated high carbon steel and come in various shapes and sizes delivering the proper amount of spring tension depending on the size of the bike and the horsepower of your engine. EBC Brakes produce extra strong clutch springs to prevent clutch slip and premature wear.
Product Note: Your lever will feel slightly "heavier" when uprating springs. Please test ride/acquaint yourself with this change in control.

Good improvement

I've had my new EBC heavy duty clutch springs on now for about 10 hours of ride time. So far my clutch is working great I do a lot of clutch up wheelies so I like my clutch to engage very abrupt. These springs definitely helped me get there.

New EBC clutch spring installed. No noticeable improvement over factory at all. Even the clutch lever resistance still feels soft.

Springs met expectations, they stiffened up the clutch and made everything much more solid.

Aftermarket springs worked great! The 15% over OEM strength they claim to have is exactly what I was looking for as I am operating at 10k rpm frequently and the extra pressure these springs apply to the clutch is needed to ensure I don't get slippage! Would buy again!

Just put a 308 big bore kit on my Sherpa and noticed the clutch may be slipping under heavy power in the higher gears. Do you sell heavy duty springs that would fix this?
Answer QuestionThey probably wouldn't hurt when compared to the stock clutch springs, and especially if they haven't been replaced in a while. EBC's clutch springs are somewhere between 10 or 15 percent stronger than the stock clutch springs, so it may help your situation. Still, before replacing the springs alone, you may wish to have a look at the clutch plates and steel separator plates themselves as well to be sure none of them are work beyond factory recommendations since clutch springs alone are not always the solution to a worn clutch.

Is this for 1 spring or 1 set of springs?
Answer QuestionAll EBC clutch springs are sold as a complete set. In the case that your machine uses a diaphragm-type clutch spring (eg. you have a 2002 Yamaha YZF-R1), then only one spring will be included in the kit as that's all the OEM clutch uses to apply pressure to the entire clutch pack.
