This is due to the fact that, any time you change the way air gets into or out of, the motor - you'll want to adjust fueling accordingly. In this way, you're guaranteed to get the most out of any exhaust you put on your motorcycle. The Bassani Slant Cut Slip-on Exhaust is an excellent choice for improved sound output over the factory mufflers on a 2006 FLHPI. In your case, we suggest you choose the standard baffles over the performance baffles. This is due to the fact that, as the diameter increases, the sound output will also increase. Standard baffles for this unit are 2" inside diameter while the performance baffles have a 2.5" inside diameter. Additionally, the baffles are removable in case you decide to change them out for the 2.5" performance baffles down the road.
