I really like the way this muffler sounds once installed, but not the easiest of DIY projects. Seemed like something I could do myself but once I started it was not that simple. In my case I had to cut off part of a section on the exhaust to have this muffler fit. I had someone install it for a small fee and was still worth it.

Answer QuestionFirst things first - cool bike. Just awesome! What a fun machine it is you have there. With that out of the way, if you were to select the 2005 Kawasaki ZRX1200R bollt-on exhaust from our fit guide, you should have no problem installing this muffler on your bike. The only caveat - it works with the stock headers only due to its bolt-on design If you've got an aftermarket exhaust on there, this will not fit unless the OEM muffler fits the aftermarket headers. I trust that makes sense.
