The TRC-D is a dual-outlet version of the race-proven TRC and boasts a carbon fiber cone end-cap. The TRC-D requires no inserts or restrictions, increasing muffler packing life and providing five percent more open exhaust outlet area and as much as three decibels lower sound output when compared to the standard open TRC exhaust. Every TRC-D slip-on muffler is optimized for greater gains in low and mid-range power to get you down the straights faster.

Answer QuestionUnfortunately, Yoshimura does not produce a TRC-D exhaust to fit the 2006 YZF-R1. The only pipe they make to fit that machine comes in the form of a Yoshimura YZF-R1 TRS Street Series slip-on exhaust. You can get those mufflers with either, a titanium or stainless steel sleeve.
