For the DR-Z400SM, we recommend that you obtain a Dynojet Carburetor Jet Kit to go along with this exhaust system. In that kit, you'll find everything you need to tune the DRZ400 carburetor for the best possible power and throttle response. The included instructions also do an excellent job of helping you get a baseline setting to work from.

Yes, this is a full exhaust system from Yoshimura that will fit DR-Z400S and DR-Z400SM models. You'll need to re-use some of the OEM exhaust hardware to install the system, but otherwise - everything else is included in the box. About the only thing that's required to get the most out of the exhaust system is a Dynojet Carburetor Jet Kit. With that, you'll be able to adjust fueling to suit the freer-flowing exhaust system.
So long as you have the stock DR-Z400S/SM exhaust parts, you'll have no problem fitting this to your bike.
Yoshimura doesn't produce an RS-2 Street Series full exhaust system to fit the 2012 Honda CRF450R. If you need an exhaust that's capable of accepting a USFS-approved spark arrestor to fit that bike (as is the case with these RS-2 exhausts), you should consider the Yoshimura RS-4 Signature Series Full Exhaust System. With that, you'll be able to purchase a separate Yoshimura RS-4 Spark Arrestor Insert so you ride the bike on public-owned state or federal land.
