Is it legal to use this as a turn signal?

Pro-One's teardrop LED taillights are not DOT approved. If you live in a state where vehicle inspections are rather stringent, you may want to take a pass on these, or at the least - you might want to use them in conjunction with the OEM taillights and/or turn signals.
