This coil is a single fire coil just like the stock unit for the 2009 Harley Davidson XL1200C Sportster 1200 Custom. It will only fire the cylinder that is on compression via the ignition pickup sensor.
When upgrading the coil do you need to do or Change anything else .Thanks

So long as the ignition wires on your machine are in good condition, there's no need to upgrade anything else in order for the coil to function properly.
