Drag Specialties does not currently produce a steering damper kit to fit a Heritage model at this time.
Is the clamp around the fork leg split, (two pieces), so you don't have to slide the fork leg from the triple clamp to install?

Yes, the fork tube clamp is indeed of a two-piece, split design. You won't have to remove the front fork in order to install this Harley-Davidson steering damper on any of the machines we have listed in our fit guide.
