There's a foam gasket included with the lens, but you must re-use the OEM baseplate in order to install the taillight on any of the machines listed in our fit guide.
Would it be possible to get the wiring diagram to the adaptors that came with this model?
Unfortunately, there is no wiring diagram included with this particular kit since the installation is a rather straight forward affair. You only need to remove the OEM taillight lens along with the light bulb and replace it with the parts included in the kit. For the models listed, this means you simply plug the bulb adapter into the OEM bulb socket and you're good to go. No soldering or fussing with the wiring is required.
Should you require a wiring diagram related to a particular motorcycle, you can find those in the Clymer Repair Manuals on our website. The wire diagrams are particularly well done with Cylmer manuals, in that, they're produced in color which makes it much easier to trace wires when compared to the black and white diagrams found in the Harley shop manuals. The taillight kit's wiring scheme mirrors that of the OEM set up for the models listed, so the manual you choose would correspond to what we have on offer.
