I need to know how these work, i have a 1988 sportster hugger and the old fender struts were cut off and bobbed, will these work for this issue?
The '88 Sportster Hugger's fender struts from Drag Specialties are designed to be affixed in the same way as the OEM fender struts they replace. The struts, on that bike at least, are designed to be bolted into position against the stock fender. So long as the stock rear fender is still on the bike, you won't need to hire a welder to finish the job.
Drag Specialties Rear Fender Struts are designed to fit just like the OEM fender struts. You shouldn't have any problems fitting them to the model you select from our fit guide.
