I have a 1989 Harley Davidson tour glide, I needed to change the stator battery wasn't charging. The compensator nut was well worn. I ordered a new one through parts giant. And I received it right away. They did a great job getting it to me. Thank you parts giant.

Is this standard or reverse thread

The compensating sprocket nut has the same thread as the OEM unit it's designed to replace. For reference, if you're installing it on a 1991 or newer Big Twin, it replaces Harley-Davidson OEM part number 40392-91. If it's a 1971 to 1990 big twin that you're working on, it replaces Harley Davidson OEM part number 40392-71.
