Quality is top shelf especially after you remove stock air cleaner you really notice. I recently installed Vance and Hines header pipes and this Air cleaner restored that lost pop in the motor. Really easy to install - took about half hour.

Would I have to re-calibrate my intake system from a stage 1 with a K&N to this filter package, Thanks

As far as calibration is concerned, if you're already running an aftermarket air filter and the bike is correctly tuned for it, you're probably pretty close. But of course, for the best possible throttle response and engine performance, we highly recommend that you have the bike tuned to compensate for the additional airflow that this particular intake kit allows for. In this way, you can be assured the biggest possible power gains with the new part.
The element itself is indeed washable and re-useable. To get it up to factory-fresh condition, we recommend using the Arlen Ness Big Sucker Filter Tune-Up Kit for Stainless Steel Filters as it's specifically formulated to work with the Big Sucker's stainless steel filter element. So long as you wash the filter at regular intervals, you won't need to replace it.
