That said, you may be able to install this light to the factory rear fender on the 1998 model year FXDWG Dyna Wide Glide. I would suggest measuring the inside width of the rear fender before purchasing. It may require a little handy work but if you have 7" of space, you should be able to adapt this taillight to your FXDWG.
