The fan fit and worked just fine with the exception of the electrical connector. It seems to be good quality. Not sure of the longevity. The previous original fan still worked but it didn't spin very freely and was popping fuses. 2000 Mule 2510.

Great fan. I love the plug and play super easy to install.

This is a super high quality fan and it was a piece of cake to install. Complete bolt-in replacement of the existing factory fan assembly. I've read some of the other reviews that complained about the connector or about the fan not triggering from the temperature sensor. I didn't experience any of those issues and I believe the other reviews were based on lack of knowledge by the poster. The connector that came with this fan plugged into the factory plug and works identical to the factory fan. If your temp sensor is bad, you might not be getting 12V power (ever) or it might be on all the time. If your fan isn't cycling on and off as expected, you need to do a test of your temp sensor which plugs in by the thermostat housing on the right side of the quad behind the CVT air duct. Easy to access. Google it.

The fan fit perfectly on my 2004 3010 diesel, real nice quality and less than half the cost of an OEM part and in my opinion better made.

Fan seems powerful but it has to be hooked up so its constantly running, the stock fan has a relay or something for the temp sensor to hook up to, this fan doesn't.
By john on Verified Purchaser
There is no way to hook up the temp sensor to the fan like the stock one has, so just plugged it in so that the fan is constantly running which isn't all that bad since the quad runs hot anyway. Can't hear it above the motor. This fan is a lot stronger though than the stock.

Great product

Just received the fan in great condition 2 days after ordering it. The part fits perfectly and appears to be put together well. Can't wait to see it run, just didn't like the slightly high price..

Answer QuestionYes, this fan would work for you as long as you choose the correct year/make/model machine before adding to your cart.

Answer QuestionAs long as you select your exact 2004 Polaris Sportsman 700 we guarantee it will fit. This fan puts out the same CFM as the stock Polaris fan for this particular model as it's designed to be a stock replacement item.

Answer QuestionThese Moose fans are model specific for ATV and UTV models. Moose Racing does not currently offer any replacement cooling fans for the 2004 Yamaha R1 at this time.

Answer QuestionThe images for this product should all be accurate. Certain models include a shroud others will be just the fan and the OEM shroud is reused. As long you select the exact model you have, the image shown would be accurate to that model.

Answer QuestionYes, if you were to select the 2005 Yamaha YFM660F Grizzly 660 4x4 radiator fan from our fit guide, you'd receive the correct components to fit your machine. We guarantee it!
By Kenny
Answer QuestionThis particular fan kit for the Grizzly 660 will indeed flow more air than stock, so it'll certainly help your ATV stay cooler than the original unit. If the stock fan is unable to keep the quad from overheating, this will certainly help in that area. Mind you, it is temperature activated, just like the stock part, so it'll switch on only when coolant temperature reaches the OEM preset. That's usually around 180-200 degrees for most ATVs. Also, another thing to check out while you're putting the fan in place, is to make sure the area surrounding the radiator is clear of any debris that could inhibit its ability to keep the engine as cool as possible.
