The Moose Poly Engine case savers for the Honda trx450 are a must have. Best protection should your chain fail. It can be a tight fit but it is molded correctly for this bike. You might need to adjust the tranny (or crankcase) vent line that runs next to it using a 8mm socket.
My opinion, the alternative aluminum ones will break the mounting bolts and most likely bust the case.
