Is top waterproof?

These roof caps are made from 500-denier nylon which is highly water resistant. Under normal rain or snowy conditions, water would not be an issue under the roof. If water were to pool or snow were to build up and melt on the roof, it will eventually soak through over an extended period of time. Hopefully this helps you with your choice of roof.
