I've been using this chain guide since 1997 on my KX500. I'm restoring it and it was time for a fresh guide. It's a must if you run a o ring chain. It worked great on my KDX200 too. Toss the stock guide and get one of these.

Bought this to replace a 1986 kdx 200 oem, hardware pieces and chain guide were better than expected, fit great no modifications needed aluminum matches the swingarm finish. Haven't ridden it yet, still getting rear shock fitted.

Great chain guide. Works like its supposed too. Didn't have any problems installing. The only difference is the way it bolts up from the stock one but not hard to figure out.
