The FMF pipe bolts up great. The stock heat shroud didn't bolt up that well. Had to do a little drilling on the brackets to get it to line up. Other than that I was pleased with the new pipe.

Will this pipe work well with the bbr big bore kit ? Or is there a better 1 I need to get for the big bore kit ?
Answer QuestionIf FMF makes a big bore exhaust for your particular machine, we recommend you get the FMF Big Bore Mini PowerCore 4 Exhaust System as it is, naturally, specifically designed for big-more engines. In the event that's not an option for your bike, the FMF Mini PowerCore4 will certainly be a better option than the stock exhaust.

Answer QuestionYes, there is a system for that 2001 XR100R. Just be sure to select that bike before adding the system to your cart for checkout.
By Tom
Answer QuestionSimply choose 2002 Honda XR80R from the vehicle selection drop down box, add it to your cart and you will get the correct exhaust.

Answer QuestionFMF does not currently produce an exhaust that is compatible with the 1986 Honda TRX70 at this time.
By Larry
Answer QuestionYou would have no problem using this exhaust with a 26mm carb. If you also have a larger than stock Big Bore kit, you could step up into the larger diameter pipe for the XR/CRF50. You can find that pipe by searching "FMF Big Bore Mini PowerCore 4 Exhaust System" in our store search bar at the top of the page.

Answer QuestionThe exact jetting requirements vary from machine-to-machine. No less, we do have a range of Dynojet Carburetor Jet kits that include everything you need to properly fuel any of the models listed here upon installation of this exhaust on your mini motorcycle.
By Justin
Answer QuestionNo, you can't install this exhaust on an otherwise stock machine and expect it to run correctly. Basically, any time you change the way air gets into or out of, the motor, you'll want to adjust fueling appropriately to maximize any performance gains available from the new setup. The good news is that we have a range of Dynojet carburetor jet kits that include everything you need to get the most out of your new exhaust. Plus, the included instructions explain exactly how to go about installing the jets and configuring it to run correctly with the new FMF exhaust.

Answer QuestionYes, if you were to choose the 2018 Honda CRF50F FMF exhaust from our fit guide, you'd receive the correct exhaust to fit your machine! You can choose this exhaust with, or without, a spark arrestor to fit your exact riding needs. In the instance you plan on taking the '50 to any public trails, you'll certainly want to choose the USFS spark arrestor-equipped FMF exhaust in our fit guide.
By Anon.
Answer QuestionA spark arrestor is just that - a device within the muffler that prevents hot sparks from exiting the exhaust and causing a forest fire. If you're going to ride your bike on any public trail, a USFS-approved spark arrestor must be in the exhaust. The arrestor itself is little more than a screen within the exhaust. If stopped by a park ranger or other government agent when riding on public lands, you can expect them to examine the exhaust for that part. Basically, they just put a stick in the muffler to feel for said arrestor.

Answer QuestionIf your bike is properly jetted, it shouldn't shoot much in the way of flames. As with any exhaust system on a carbureted bike, you will need to adjust fueling in order to prevent the bike from throwing flames out of the pipe. To do that, we recommend an FMF jet kit to go with any FMF Mini PowerCore 4 Full Exhaust System we sell.
By brad
Answer QuestionOh yes it is! FMF's mini-moto exhausts are all significantly louder than stock. It'll wake up the bike and if jetted properly, you'll get a pretty good power gain, too!
