Cobra Speedster Swept Exhaust System

The curves on the road are nothing compared to what Cobra is seeing in some of the latest cruisers...and exactly why not just any pipe design will do. Enter the Speedster Swept. A real work of metallurgical art, the sweeping lines of these pipes are truly breathtaking, but that's only the beginning of what's packed into them. Like Cobra's flagship Speedsters, the Swepts also include Cobra's PowerPort, which gives you 2:1 power while maintaining the great 2:2 look.

The Swepts are then given full-length, triple-layer chrome 2.5-inch heat shields covering 1.75-inch head pipes. And of course they have Cobra's Limited Lifetime Warranty (black finish excluded), To say Cobra outdid themselves on these beauties is a real understatement.

Vulcan 900 Custom Cobra Swepts

By   on  Verified Purchaser

The pipes sound awesome for the Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom that I have. Really makes it sound good. It's definitely not too loud, as I can still listen to my radio built into my helmet (Cardo). I will say that the install is a bit tricky, read the directions twice each time. Also, there is no possible way to get the last pipe clamp around the baffle and the black surround behind. It needs to be at least an inch longer. I'm running without that one as I felt everything was structurally sound enough to be fine and I haven't had any issues yet. If anything starts to rattle, I'll buy a bigger clamp. Otherwise, 7/7 would buy again.

Very happy customer!

I love my new exhaust it sounds great!

The best

By   on  Verified Purchaser

All I have to say is wow it looks amazing and sounds even better no need to take the baffles out plenty loud I couldn't be happier with them.

Love the sound

By   on  Verified Purchaser

Cobra exhaust system on a 2010 Honda Fury, not to loud, nice rumble, smoother throttle response. Direct fit no bending, no tweaking, thumbs up.

Great product.... However....

By   on  Verified Purchaser

Great exhaust system in quality and sound. I have the chrome version of this very same exhaust on my 2012 Raider and sounds beyond amazing. However... installation was good for the most part. There are some notes that could've been placed in earlier steps to prevent backtracking in process of install. Otherwise, satisfied

Awesome sound and design

By   on

I bought my 2013 Raider SCL new from the showroom floor with these pipes installed by the dealer and they are on point! Awesome sound and the design follows the profile of the bike. And they're spaced just enough to put a socket with extensions on the rear axle but without having to take the pipes off for a rear tire change...can't complain about that at all.

Honda fury cobra swept

By   on

Ordered Tuesday received Thursday at 10am packaged very well. Cheaper than everyone else. Why wouldn't I order from here. Exact fit. Fury looks amazing and sounds even better than I was expecting. Wow, don't need to remove the baffles. Great rumble. 1000x better than stock. You won't be disappointed with these pipes or parts giant. Thanks parts giant you have a forever customer now.

Cobra speedster pipes

By   on  Verified Purchaser

They look nice but I haven't had a chance to get them installed yet. When putting a aftermarket exhaust on you have to also upgrade fuel management system. I have an appointment with a shop to get thus stuff done.

New pipes for new fury

By   on  Verified Purchaser

Fitted the black speedster swept exhaust to a 2020 Honda Fury. Followed the enclosed instructions closely. It took about 2 hours total. Not only do they look good, but sound even better.

Cobra Pipes Excellent

By   on  Verified Purchaser

They look great on my bike. I have not heard them yet because I’m getting the bike painted so I don’t have the gas tank on the bike.

Cobra Speedster Swept Exhaust

Great price, bolted right on no problem.

The Beast is AWAKE!

By   on

2015 Honda Fury. Installed the Speedster Swept Exhaust (w/ baffles), Powrflo Intake and EFI Controller .... all work flawlessly AND were very easy to install. They REALLY woke up the Fury and now mileage averages about 51.1 mpg w/ 27 fuel-ups.

cobra swept honda fury

By   on  Verified Purchaser

Cobra exhaust sounds 100 x better on the Honda fury.

Speedsters

By   on  Verified Purchaser

Very nice upgrade. Although the baffles can be removed from these pipes, they sound nice with them in. With the Cobra fi2000 fuel management this system performs great. The bike is still new, less than 400 miles, and gas mileage checked at 51.2 miles per gallon. Air intake is stock. No complaints. Easy install.

So much better than stock!

By   on  Verified Purchaser

Deep rumble in first gear. Sounds great. Much better than stock. I also have the fi2000r and the PowerPro air intake from cobra.

WOW!

By   on  Verified Purchaser

I installed the Cobra PowerFlow Air intake, Swept exhaust, and Cobra FI2000r controller (havent tweaked it yet) all at the same time and dear God did all these parts turn my 2020 Honda Fury into a Screaming Eagle. Faster in every gear, super fast throttle response and idles much better. The pipes sound great and nice low grumble in first gear and not obnoxious when getting it. Would recommend all these parts.

Live, laugh, love till life ends

By   on  Verified Purchaser

I think they make a better choice for the cruiser look and performance.

Cobra sweep pipes and controller

Look and sound great, very satisfied. Everything needed, was in the box.

Perfect

By   on  Verified Purchaser

Easy to install. The hardest was replacing the gaskets. I can tell a huge improvement on the vtx itself.

Amazing sound!

By   on  Verified Purchaser

I have had these pipes on my Yamaha Raider for about a year now. They were very easy to install with the detailed instructions. I also purchased the tuner to go with it. I highly recommend this setup if you're looking for an awesome sound. Definitely gives it a huge Rumble and opened up that giant 1900 cc motor. You feel a lot more power and instant torque with the extra flow of air. Highly recommend!

Great pipes and quality parts. Made the bike look a lot better. Waiting on more parts as we speak

Sound is amazing

By   on  Verified Purchaser

Great looking and Cobra quality! Very high quality chrome. No like some of the others!

Happy Biker

By   on

My wife purchased a set of Cobra Speedster Swept Exhaust system for my 2011 Suzuki M109R and Parts Giant has exceeded all of our purchasing expectations. The price for the exhaust system was the cheapest I found for a Cobra product. The exhaust system was delivered reasonable fast and I couldn't be any happier with the way my bike looks and sounds! Thanks Parts Giant!

2014 Yamaha Stryker do I need to relocate my passenger peg for these exhaust

There is no need to relocate the passenger footpeg on your Yamaha Stryker in order to fit this exhaust.

By Tom
Answer Question

Where can i purchase the cobra FI2000R AND HOW MUCH

You can use the search bar on our site to find the FI2000R. Prices vary depending on the bike that you have.

By Andy
Answer Question

Do i need to install any type of fuel adjuster when i install these pipes on a 2015 honda fury, are will the fuel flow adjust it self.

It would be recommended to install a fuel tuner along with the addition of a full exhaust system. The stock ECM of the bike can only adjust so far, which is why a fuel tuner will allow for a much more fine tuned approach to getting the proper amount of fuel delivered.

By Andy
Answer Question

Will this exhaust work on a 2021 vulcan 900 classic

Yes, that is one of the model you can choose before adding it to your cart.

Answer Question

Foot peg relocation bracket

Do I need the relocation foot peg bracket for a stock 2015 Honda Stateliness with no modifications?

No, there's no need to modify or relocate the OEM right-side passenger footpegs on the 2015 Honda Stateline when installing this exhaust. You can bolt this on without having to buy any extra parts!

By Staff
Answer Question

I have a 2016 fury. Will the foot pegs need to be relocated for these pipes? If so do you sell the replicator brackets and what is the cost of these?

There's no need to relocate the passenger footpeg with this exhaust on the Honda Fury as this exhaust can be installed without the need to reposition the peg. There's no need to purchase any additional parts to fit this to your bike.

Answer Question

Is there a big difference in the Speedster Swept vs the Speedster Short Swept?

Looking at new system for wife's 2011 FXS Blackline

The two main differences are, first of course - appearance. The Cobra Speedster Short Swept Exhaust System, has an exit that's closer to the ground and nearer to the center of the bike. Which leads us to ... The second main difference is sound output. By virtue of the shorter pipes on the Speedster Short exhaust, it's going to be the louder of the two. Exactly how much louder, is difficult to say since Cobra doesn't provide sound output numbers for their exhausts. From a performance standpoint, there's little difference in terms of maximum power output, it's really where that extra power is going to be found in the rev range. The shorter pipes will move peak horsepower higher up in the RPMs while the longer pipes will provide more power down low. If you're one for blasting away from the lights, going with the shorter pipes. If you want highway passing power, the longer exhaust will be the better choice.

Baffle for the Speedster swept

Hello. Please Help! I need the baffles (2 pc) for Cobra Speedster swept exhaust(2225B). Motorcycle Yamaha Raider 2014. You have these? How to order? Thanks.

Unfortunately, we do not have the baffles for the swept exhaust available to us from Cobra. Cobra does sell them direct to customers. You just have to give them a ring at their Yorba Linda California headquarters to order them.

Answer Question

This pipe fit on a 2005 honda retro 1300

Cobra does not currently offer a set of Speedster Swept pipes to fit a 2005 VTX1300R Retro at this time. Only the VTX1300C model. The bend of the pipes does not fit the other VTX1300 models.

Answer Question

can installing this exhaust on my 2008 raider without power commander cause engine to run lean in turn eventually causing engine damage

bike has this exhaust and k&n air filter but no fuel mods

With a full exhaust and an intake it is highly recommended to install a fuel tuner for peak performance and reliability. While you can probably get away with installing this Cobra Speedster Swept exhaust system by itself, the system may be running much leaner than stock and could potentially cause damage in the long run. Basically, any time you change the way air flows into or out of the engine, you'll want to adjust the air fuel ratio accordingly to maximize any performance gains available from the new freer flowing intake and exhaust system upgrade.

Answer Question

2014 Yamaha V-Star 1300 Tourer

Will I have any problems with this product, considering the placement of the passenger foot-peg or the stock saddlebag, or is this designed to fit my specific model with those things in mind?

No, this particular exhaust won't fit any V-Star 13000 Touring model as the mounting brackets for the stock exhaust are completely different from that of other V-Star 1300 models in our fit guide. Furthermore, the saddlebags do get in the way. The only full exhaust Cobra makes to fit the V-Star 1300 Tourer is the Speedster Xtra Longs Exhaust System as it's specifically engineered to stay out of the way of the stock passenger pegs and saddlebags.

Answer Question

2013 honda stateline

If I buy this exhaust, what else do I need to make the most of the new pipes so I get the best performance

For any Cobra exhaust you purchase, we can't say enough good things to about the Cobra Fi2000R Fuel Controller from Cobra. With that, you'll be able to optimize fuel delivery for your machine's exact needs. The included instructions for the fuel tuner explain exactly how to go about setting up the device to work with your bike's configuration. As there's only three dials on the tuner, it's a straight forward process that'll help you get the most out of the bike without ever needing to take a trip to the dyno.

Answer Question

Hi I have a 2016 Honda Fury, I'm not gonna lie, all I know how to do is ride a motorcycle. I could swap out the exhaust easy enough but will I need to do anything more to the bike once These are installed? If so, what will i need and do you carry these items? Thanks

As your bike is fuel-injected, you'll need to adjust fuel delivery in order for it to run correctly upon installation of this, or any full exhaust system. The OEM ECU just can't keep up with the extra fuel required with the added airflow. Sure, the bike will still run, but it'll run hot and it'll definitely feel like it's missing something when you give it some throttle. Plus, the added heat will quickly turn the exhaust a blue color. To alleviate these problems, and give you the best possible engine power, we have a Cobra Fi2000R fuel controller that'll correct these matters easily. It comes out of the box pre-programmed to work with a Cobra full exhaust system, such as the Speedster Swept in question. Plus, installation is rather easy and the included instructions, for both the tuner and the exhaust, clearly explain how to do everything. If you're comfortable chang

Answer Question

Suzuki M90

So I want to purchase these for my bike and I keep seeing my pegs might need to be relocated, just want to confirm if they do need to be relocated and if they do what part do I need. Also what fuel management system would you recommend for my bike. thanks

You won't need to remove the passenger pegs in order to fit this exhaust to a Suzuki M90. Though, you will have to loosen it during installation in order to provide for clearance for the heat shields. After you get the exhaust on the bike, however, you just cinch the passenger footpeg back down to spec and you're good to go. There's no need to buy a passenger footpeg relocation bracket for the M90/Speedster Swept exhaust combination. And, while a fuel tuner isn't required, to get the most out of the new exhaust, we highly recommend the Fi2000R Fuel Controller from Cobra. Since you're making a big change from the stock exhaust to this aftermarket pipe setup, the OEM ECU probably isn't going to be able to make the requisite adjustments for proper fuel delivery. Any, while you might not notice the power loss so much, you will notice the poor throttle response. The bike will feel like it's missing at a steady throttle position or will stumble when you make even the slightest throttle position change. The Fi2000 takes care of all of that!

By Staff
Answer Question

What is the average horsepower gain on 2010 Fury 1300cc, from stock pipes?

Unfortunately, Cobra doesn't provide any horsepower numbers for any of their exhaust systems. No matter what you do, however, you'll need to adjust fuel delivery with something like an Fi2000R Fuel Controller, in order to obtain the biggest possible power gains. This is due to the fact that, when the engine breathes more freely, you'll want to adjust fueling to suit so as to take the biggest advantage of the new exhaust.

By Staff
Answer Question

Do I need a fuel management system if only installing the exhaust?

Earlier I asked what fuel management would be best recommend for a 2013 suzuki boulevard m90 but have recently been told that since my bike has the O2 sensors, all I would need is an O2 eliminator and fuel management is not needed. I see similar questions have been answered already but I am confused on whether this is bike specific or in general it is recommended to get fuel management but not necessary with new pipes?

The fuel management system may not be required, but that really depends on how well the bike runs after you've installed the exhaust. Since it's fuel-injected, after you install the exhaust, a thirty minute ride around town isn't going to hurt it. From that first ride, you should have a pretty good idea as to whether or not you need to adjust fuel delivery. If the bike feels like it's missing at a steady throttle or it stumbles when adjusting the throttle, that's a good sign you'll need to have fuel delivery modified. An O2 sensor may help solve those problems, but again - treat it the same way as you did upon initial installation of the exhaust: go for a ride and see if that makes any improvement to power delivery and throttle response. If that takes care of it, great - no more parts to buy! However, if that doesn't take care of the problem, then you'll need a Power Commander V and the requisite trip to the dyno since there's simply no substitute for a good custom map with the help of a competent dyno tuner.

Answer Question

Are pipes separate or are the connected

All Cobra Swept exhausts have the look of a two-into-two design, but there's at least one balance pipe installed between each header. Cobra refers to this as their PowerPort design. The idea behind the PowerPort system is to optimize backpressure between each pipe so as to allow for more power output since, truly, two-into-one exhausts produce more power than dual pipes of similar length for the same bike. The PowerPort design allows for the look of a true dual exhaust, while retaining much of the performance advantage that comes with a two-into-one design.

By Staff
Answer Question

I have a 2010 honda sabre. Would I need to get a power commander for these pipes even with the baffles in them?

Your bike will most likely run well enough upon the installation of this exhaust without modifying fuel delivery. Albeit, things like environment in which you ride and fuel quality being factors, it's impossible to say whether or not you'll notice any difference in performance. Most certainly, the bike will be louder! Though, in the case of a full exhaust system, we (and Cobra, naturally) recommend that fuel delivery be adjusted to suit the improvement in exhaust flow. In this way, you can be sure to get the best possible power gain, and more noticeable - excellent throttle response. This is due to the fact that Sabre's ECU may not be able to completely compensate for the difference. For your particular machine, the Cobra Fi2000R is an excellent choice; it's easy to install and comes pre-set to work with Cobra's full exhaust system. And, the included instructions do an excellent job of explaining exactly how to adjust the device for the best performance possible. Still, you should be able to install the exhaust alone and ride the bike to understand if there are any flaws in fuel delivery without the worry of harming anything. So if you wish, just go with the exhaust for starters, see if you like the way the bike rides, and if you feel it needs to be improved, you can add the Fi2000R later on.

Answer Question

I have a 2013 suzuki m90. For the cobra swept what would be the best fuel management to add, fi2000, power commander etc?

In the case of the 2013 Suzuki M90, your best bet would be a Power Commander V since Cobra does not offer an Fi2000 system to fit that bike. Of course, you'll want to take your bike to a competent dyno tuner to get the best possible throttle response and engine power output or add a Dynojet Power Commander V Autotune Kit with Single O2 Sensor to your order. With that last item, you'll be able to tune your bike for all riding conditions and won't be required to visit a dyno operator.

Answer Question

Do i need the passenger foot peg relocation bracket for a 2014 Raider scl? Also if so can you give the item number and where i can find it. Also can you tell me what power commander and jet kit i will need to make the exhaust run at its full potential. I will also be adding a air intake kit. Just want to buy everything i need for top performance. A complete list of parts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

No, there's no requirement to remove the passenger footpeg in order to install this exhaust on your machine. As far as fuel delivery modification is concerned, we (and Cobra, naturally), recommend the Cobra Fi2000R Closed-Loop Fuel Controller. It comes right out of the box configured to work with a Cobra exhaust system and can easily be configured to account for an air intake kit as well. The included instructions for both item do an excellent job of explaining everything needed to install and configure your bike to work together.

Answer Question

Will I. Have to move foot peg on 91 fxstc

Yes, you would be required to move the passenger footpeg brackets in order to install the FXSTC Cobra Speedster exhaust system. We have a complete Drag Specialties Softail Custom Passenger Footpeg Relocation Kit that'll do the job perfectly.

Answer Question

I have 2011 Stryker with Kuryakyn passenger floorboards. Will I need to buy a new mounting bracket

Probably not - so long as the floorboards aren't fixed any lower than the stock footpegs. Basically, if you were to take a straight line out from the bottom of the Stryker's footpeg mount on the frame and the floorboard doesn't sit any lower than that, you won't have any problems fitting the exhaust. You will find that, at least to install the exhaust, you'll need to loosen the footpeg's bracket and/or remove the entire assembly in order to make way for the Yamaha Stryker Cobra exhaust system.

By Staff
Answer Question

Do these exhaust have the 02 sensor bung ?

If your machine was originally equipped with oxygen sensors from the factory, then yes - this Cobra exhaust would include a provision for fitting those in roughly the same position as the stock exhaust.

By Staff
Answer Question

Di I need to adjust the carburetor jet fuel if I replace the exhaust pipe

Yes, whenever you add an aftermarket exhaust system to your bike, you should certainly re-jet the carburator. In this way, you can be assured the best possible throttle response and engine power output. For Cobra exhausts, we recommend a Cobra Carburetor Jet Kit as they're specifically developed to work with Cobra exhaust components.

By Staff
Answer Question

how many baffles are in each pipe?

There is a single baffle in each pipe. That is to say, as these are dual exhausts, there are two baffles included within the kit. These baffles are easily installed or removed as they're affixed with a single screw.

By Staff
Answer Question

Is this a straight pipe or are there mufflers in the pipes?

All Cobra Speedstar Swept exhaust systems come with removable baffles in each pipe. Should the sound not be loud enough for your tastes, it only takes a few minutes to pull the Cobra exhaust baffles out from each pipe.

Answer Question

Do I need the relocation foot peg bracket for a stock 2006 VTX 1300 C?

There's no need to purchase a separate relocation bracket to fit this exhaust to your particular machine so long as you still have the OEM passenger footpegs on there. As you say your machine is completely stock, you shouldn't have any problems fitting this system. All you'll need is an evening in the garage to get it done.

By Staff
Answer Question

Do I need passenger peg relocation for 2008 raider?

No, you don't need to purchase any additional hardware in order to install Cobra floorboards for the 2008 Yamaha Raider. That's the beauty of all Cobra floorboards, everything you need is in one box along with easy-to-follow instructions for a quick, simple installation with no special tools or special parts required.

By Staff
Answer Question

do i need a passenger relocation kit for 2005 vtx1300c?

i currently have kuryakyn wing foot pegs for passenger can i retain these?

Without having the bike here to examine, it's impossible to say for sure whether or not this Cobra exhaust would suit your needs. If you still have the OEM passenger footpegs, your best bet would be to mount the right side peg and then see how low it sits compared to the Kuryakyn passenger floorboards you have on your bike. If the heights between the two are equal, or the aftermarket passenger peg sits higher than the OEM unit, then you should have no problem putting this exhaust on your bike. The good news is that this particular exhaust does not require a passenger footpeg relocation bracket to fit the 2005 Honda VTX1300C with the OEM passenger footpegs still installed.

Answer Question

is a passenger peg relocation kit required on 2009 Vulcan 900 classic and if so what is part number or is it included?

By Staff
Answer Question

I have a 2003 Kawasaki Vulcan 900. Whats the part number for the passenger peg relocation bracket?

Cobra's Speedster Swept Exhaust System for the 2003 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic actually comes with a passenger relocation bracket in the box. There's no need to purchase any additional hardware to install this kit on your bike.

By Staff
Answer Question

Do these come with new gaskets?

No, Cobra does not include exhaust valve gaskets and the rest of the exhaust is slip-fit together. There's no need for any gaskets within the exhaust itself since thermal expansion does an excellent job of prevent exhaust gasket leakage. More often than not, you can re-use the OEM exhaust gaskets if they're in good condition.

By Staff
Answer Question

Does it come in black?

Yes, Cobra Speedster Swept exhausts systems are available in chrome or black for most motorcycles.

By Staff
Answer Question

Does this include the mounting bracket?

Yes, all Cobra exhausts ship with a complete set of mounting hardware and easy-to-follow instructions. All required hardware can be found in the box along with the exhaust.

By Staff
Answer Question

Will I need to rejet my carb with these swept pipes?

While you can probably get away with installing this exhaust by itself, to get the best possible throttle response and engine performance, it's always best to get some sort of fueling modification device. Basically, any time you change the way air gets into or out of, the motor, you'll want to adjust fueling appropriately to maximize any performance gains available from the new setup.
