Power. Everyone wants it, but at the same time, you usually have to give up something to get it. Not the case with Cobra's Power Pro HP 2:1 system. That's because inside all of this beautifully sculpted metal lies the raw, animal-like performance you're looking for.
There's just something about the way a 2:1 looks, and the Power Pro definitely doesn't disappoint. From it's crafted collector heat shield that skillfully cleans up the lines, covers the welds and resists bluing, to its rich, triple-layer chrome heat shields, you don't know really whether to lust after it or fear it.
Then there's the power. Raw, pure and unadulterated. Matched up with a great double-insulated cylindrical canister on the HP version with it's 3-1/4" billet tip, this thing pushes and shouts down the road like no other. So get out there and start turning heads for all the right reasons.

I had been shopping for months looking for a solution to the exhaust I disliked on my 2017 Heritage Classic. After two to 3 hours of touring, the short pipe from cylinder 1 that stops right below the seat, and my right ear, would get really old to listen to. It also made it harder to hear my music and intercom. I have an older Fat Boy that has V&H staggered long shots that are a perfect solution, but the price of new ones is what I consider ridiculous. I tried for months to find a used set in good shape but struck out. Then I saw a pic of these 2-into-1 pipes on a different Heritage and decided to try them. At just a bit more than half the price of the new V&H system, these are of great quality and, in my opinion, look better. I spent about 3 hours installing, and everything needed was included and fit without issue as promised.

This exhaust system is perfect for my 2017 Heritage Classic. I bought this bike used and the original mufflers were changed out for Vance & Hines slash-cut slip-ons. They sounded great, but after an hour or so on the highway the forward muffler, that was basically right under my my right ear, became obnoxious. Ear plugs helped but not enough for the long haul. I use this as a touring bike and wanted the sound moved to the rear. This 2-into-1 system sounds excellent but exits farther back under the saddlebag. Cruising is so much more enjoyable now. Installation took me about 3 hours and all parts needed were included. The directions were adequate.

Fit perfect. Sounds great and pretty loud. Noticeably better performance. I'm quite happy. I also have a cobra pipe on my fat bob, also happy with that.

Fit well, chrome seems good, sounds awesome. Loud if you want it but quiet if you want it too.
By Don B. on Verified Purchaser
Love the fit and design, a bit too loud though, wish I could add or take out baffles as needed, not as good sounding as my old Roadhouse exhaust, cobra bought them out but Don't sell the same products!

Very pleased with the product.

Excellent fitment on my '08 FLSTF. Great looks & not too loud.
By Bruce R. on Verified Purchaser
The Cobra Power Pro HP fit onto my ‘06 Road Star perfectly. I wanted to go quieter plus run better as i knew from previous big v-twins, they run better using tuned 2-1 exhaust . I get a deeper sound with this setup and without changing the carb or spark. It runs a little smoother(more correct back pressure).

Installation on 01 fatboy took this gray haired old fat man about 4 hours. Sounds as good as it looks.
By Demetrius B. on Verified Purchaser
2into1 full system is awesome. I feel a definite increase in power over my old system which was the Vance & Hines straight shots with stock Harley headers. Pipe sounds great. Not too loud. 20 decibels quieter at idle (79 dB) but cranks when you open the throttle. Install was easy, great quality. Fit and finish is super nice

System went on great and exactly like the directions specify, only issue I had was rear head pipe heat shield didnt quite get covered by the transition heat shield cover (1/4") for my application but fit and finish was excellent otherwise!!

Sounds great and looks good. Most important I didn't have to sacrifice power or low end torque. Great buy.

I love the sound and look of the new exhaust. Great product for the price.

Installation was easy enough, took approx. 2 hours (removing old, installing new). However if you have a remote oil filter relocator, this exhaust will work, but you will have to modify the location of the oil filter kit. Otherwise, it will not work very well and the master cylinder will sit/touch the oil relocator. (didn't want the heat on mine or possibility of melting). Here is what I did: Followed directions for exhaust installation. I relocated the rear master cylinder as required and with supplied bracket. I removed the oil lines from my filter kit and removed the filter assembly/bracket, being careful to not spill oil. I purchased new oil lines that were longer, you will need approx. (2) 12" overall length lines with 4an female fittings (mine were 18" and just a tad too long so I had to loop them). I moved the filter relocate assembly to the left side of bike, and I'm still able to remove the filter just fine. My filter is basically in the middle of the down pipe in front of the shifter, which actually protects the filter a little better in my opinion. Tightened every thing back down, started it up, checked for leaks, checked oil, etc. For the exhaust review: Beautiful pipes! and chrome covers!. This thing looks great on the bike. The sound is amazing. I didn't want something that rattles my head or makes my neighbors hate me. At highway speeds, you can barley notice the rumble and it pretty much levels out, its just loud enough that people would hear you and grab some attention, but not make them hate you. But this thing at idle and acceleration is a beautiful sound which really complements the 1100 V-Star. I will however be taking it to my mechanic to have the carbs jetting checked and or modified. I don't think it needs it, but I want to be on safe side. All in all, I'm impressed and I have had numerous people ask about it and heads turned when I drive by. And my oil lines, even though slightly too long, still looks professional due to the loop I placed in them, and placed a small zip tie to make them run parallel together!

I have a ThunderMax Zipper on my 2004 FLHTI
Answer QuestionThere are no provisions for oxygen sensors on the Cobra exhaust for the 2004 FLHTI since the bike did not come from the factory fitting with O2 sensors. Of course, if you're comfortable with some fabrication work, you could order a set of Drag Specialties Weld-In O2 Sensor Bungs with your exhaust and weld those in place. Those bungs are available in 90 and 45-degree bends so they'll work with whatever you need.
By Tripp Johnson
Answer QuestionYes, that is one of the models you can choose for this exhaust.
By Eddie
Answer QuestionYes, you'll want to adjust fuel delivery in order to install this exhaust system on your machine. The 2008 V-Star 1300 Tourer is a fuel-injected bike, so you'll need to order a suitable fuel tuner in order to get the most out of this, or any other full exhaust system we sell that fits that bike. For Cobra exhausts, we recommend the Fi2000R fuel tuner as it's simple to install and configure. And since it's developed to work with Cobra's exhausts, the baseline setting is pretty close to what you'll need. Best of all, it requires no trip to the dyno, just plug it in, adjust the three dials as indicated in the instructions, and you're all set!

Answer QuestionThis exhaust mounts just above the axle line on the Yamaha XV1700AT Road Star 1700 Silverado models. Provided your bags do not come to that point, you should have no problem keeping them installed using this exhaust system.
By Glenn
Answer QuestionIn the case of all Road Star models that this exhaust fits, the OEM exhaust bracket is to be removed and replaced by the item included with this exhaust. It provides for a much cleaner look this way since the single muffler would expose quite a bit of the stock bracket to the world. It looks much nicer this way!

Answer QuestionIf you were to choose the 2014 Harley Davidson FLSTF Softail Fat Boy from our fit guide, you'd receive the correct exhaust to fit your machine. And, provided you have the original exhaust on your machine, then you won't need to purchase any additional components to fit this exhaust to your bike - it's all included in the box. You will, however, need to add some sort of fuel controller in order to get the best possible power output and throttle response out of the new exhaust system. To do that, we can't say enough good things about the Cobra Fi2000R fuel controller. The device is simple to install and configure, and in doing so - your engine will deliver the correct amount of fuel at all power settings in order to run correctly. It's a must-have accessory anytime you go from a completely stock exhaust system to that of a full system such as this.

Answer QuestionFrom the headers to the engine, the Power Pro HP and the Power Pro exhaust systems are basically the same. The mufflers vary between the two. If you're after for a more sharp exhaust sound, choose the Power Pro. The HP variant, due to its larger muffler volume, has a slightly deeper tone to it, but otherwise, both systems are about the same volume overall. It really comes down to what your visual and sonic tastes happen to be: HP for depth, Power Pro for bark.

Answer QuestionAll Cobra exhausts include the requisite installation hardware in the box, though you may need to re-use some of the OEM exhaust mounting hardware (eg. screws, bolts and/or brackets) in order to complete the installation. In the case of the '84 Sportster 883, there is a mounting bracket included that's to be attached to the rear right section of the motor.

Do the pipes have bungs for the 02 sensors that are on my 07 Harley Electra Glide?
Answer QuestionAll Cobra exhausts, including the Power Pro HP, include a provision for fitting the stock-sized oxygen sensors to the new exhaust.
By robert
Answer QuestionAs far as the Sportster 1200 Cobra Power Pro HP 2-into-1 Exhaust System system is compared to that, it's really down to what you prefer in terms of looks. What is nice about the Cobra exhaust is that it comes equipped with a heat shield, so you don't see the welds where the collector on the header meets the muffler. As far as performance goes, both exhausts are much better than stock. When properly tuned, you can expect an improvement in engine performance. In any case, no matter what, you have to tune fuel delivery if you expect to get the most benefit from these exhausts. A Cobra PowrPro for the XL1200L will provide everything you need to get the biggest gains available from any of the Sportster Harley aftermarket exhausts we have on offer.
By Brad
Answer QuestionIf your machine is equipped with an OEM oxygen sensor, then yes - the Cobra Power Pro HP two-into-one exhaust system will include a provision for fitting it to the exhaust. Unless otherwise noted in our description, all of Cobra's exhausts are designed to work with your bike's OEM oxygen sensors. In this way, you needn't purchase any other parts to fit the pipes to your bike.
By Markus
Answer QuestionSince the 2009 V-Star 1300 is a fuel-injected bike, you're going to need a fuel tuner to go along with it. For any Cobra exhaust that we have, we highly recommend a Cobra Fi2000 PowrPro Black to go along with it. With that, all you need to do is configure it with an Android or iOS smartphone to work with the new exhaust.
By Pokey
Answer QuestionOnce you put this exhaust on, the stock ECU isn't going to be able to adjust fueling to be rich enough, especially at partial throttle settings. In other words, you're going to need to add an aftermarket fuel controller to work with this, or any other full exhaust system we sell. In doing so, you can be assured that the combustion chamber will receive the correct amount of fuel in order to achieve the best possible throttle response and engine power output. In the case of this Cobra exhaust, we recommend the Cobra Fi2000R Fuel Controller. The Fi2000R is easy to install - easier than putting the exhaust on, actually (that's not too hard, either!) - and comes with simple-to-understand instructions. It's in those instructions that it's clearly explained how to get the most out of the tuning device. There are three dials on the fuel controller that you might need to tweak as the unit comes preset from Cobra to work with aftermarket systems. Save for extenuating circumstances (poor fuel, high-altitude &etc.) it should be very close to an ideal fuel map right out of the box. After getting everything put on your bike, just go for a ride, note how the bike responds to throttle input and adjust the tuner accordingly. In most cases, you'll have it dialed in after two or three test rides. The included instructions do an excellent job of explaining exactly what needs to be changed in the case you find something lacking in terms of your bike's performance or throttle response.

Answer QuestionYes, this Cobra Power Pro HP 2-into-1 exhaust will indeed fit the 2007 Yamaha Road Star 1700. To get the exhaust you need to fit your bike, simply select your make, year and model from the dropdown menu that's to the right of the main image and we'll be sure to ship you the correct exhaust to fit your exact bike.

I have passenger pegs installed and it looks like the exhaust would hit them. Just wanna know before I buy them
Answer QuestionBecause we have a whole slew of Cobra Power Pro HP Sportster exhausts that fit the whole gamut of Sportsters (883 and 1200) - they will work with the OEM passenger pegs. So long as you're using OEM-type passenger pegs on your bike, you shouldn't have to move them when installing this exhaust and keeping those on the bike. As far as forward/mid-controls - that's certainly not a problem, so long as they're OEM Harley-type parts. If you've got some RSD, Performance Machine &etc., type of mid-controls, I can't say for sure without having the bike here. Also, one thing you should consider, even though that bike is fuel-injected, and will compensate somewhat for the exhaust installation, if you want to get the best possible throttle response and engine output, I'd implore you to get a Cobra PowrPro Fi2000. The device adjusts fueling at 120hz using information from the sensors already installed on the bike. It's just a plug-and-play setup that'll add a few minutes to the exhaust installation. I highly recommend it.

just wondering
Answer QuestionWhile you can probably get away with simply installing this exhaust on your machine, if you want to get the most out of the bike, it's always best to get a matching jet kit. We have a variety of jet kits from Cobra that'll do the job well. They're designed by Cobra specifically for your machine to go with their exhausts. With the installation of a jet kit, you'll get the best possible power output and throttle response when putting that exhaust on your machine.
By Kerry
Answer QuestionCobra recommends that their exhausts be matched with a Cobra Carburetor Jet Kit. You can find those jet kits in our store.
