The curves on the road are nothing compared to what Cobra is seeing in some of the latest cruisers ... and exactly why not just any pipe design will do. Enter the Speedster Swept. A real work of metallurgical art, the sweeping lines of these pipes are truly breathtaking, but that's only the beginning of what's packed into them. Like Cobra's flagship Speedsters, the Swepts also include Cobra's PowerPort, which gives you 2:1 power while maintaining the great 2:2 look.
The Swepts are then given full-length, triple-layer chrome 2.5-inch heat shields covering 1.75-inch head pipes. And of course they have Cobra's Limited Lifetime Warranty (black finish excluded), To say Cobra outdid themselves on these beauties is a real understatement.

Quality product for a more than fair price. Took me about 2 hours to remove old pipes and install the new ones. Looks great, and sounds awesome, and for almost half the price of the Vance and Hines! Big 2 thumbs up!

05 softail deluxe. I had aftermarket pipes on it previously with a stage 1 kit, but wasn't real happy with the sound. It was close to being what i wanted, but not quite. Anyway, these pipes are awesome. Look amazing, and now my bike has the attitude I wanted it to have. They are perfect. Glad I got them for sure.

Answer QuestionYes, you would be able to install this system without removal of your passenger pegs for that 2017 FXDB.
By Anon.
Answer QuestionYes, you would need to relocate that passenger peg. The bracket does not come with the system, as it is sold separately. You can search our site for Cobra Passenger Footpeg Relocation Bracket to find it.
By Smokey1620
Answer QuestionAfter checking, Cobra shows that the relocation brackets are included if needed.
By Doug
Answer QuestionNo, in the case of the '12 Superglide Custom, you needn't move or otherwise modify the OEM passenger footpeg in order to fit this exhaust to your machine.
By Curt
Answer QuestionYes, absolutely - the Fi2000R is designed to work with all Cobra exhaust and intake components, including the Speedster Short Swept exhaust. Just configure it as directed by following the instructions (probably only two knobs need to be moved) and you're all set!
By Tony Lee
Answer QuestionDepending on if your bike is fuel injected or carbureted, you would want to look into a tuner or a jet kit. The passenger floorboards have to be removed for installation, you can likely relocate it higher than the factory position to retain them. The come very close factory footpeg mount.
By Runi
Answer QuestionIf you were to choose the 2013 FXSB Softail Breakout Cobra Speedster exhaust from our fit guide, you'd receive the correct exhaust to fit the your bike. As far as the right side passenger footpeg is concerned, you won't need to remove it in order to fit this exhaust.
By Win
Answer QuestionCobra exhausts are all designed to work with the OEM O2 sensors on any bike you select from our fit guide. So long as the sensors are stock, or of a stock replacement design, you should have no problem fitting the O2 sensors to your machine.
By KC
Answer QuestionIf you were to choose the 2015 Harley-Davidson FXDL Dyna Low Rider, you'd receive the correct Cobra Speedster Short Swept pipes to fit the Dyna Low Rider. With regard to the passenger peg, there's no need to remove or otherwise relocate that part on your particular Dyna as there's enough clearance to deploy the peg should the need arise. As for fuel, yes, you'll certainly want to modify fuel delivery upon installation of this, or any other complete Dyna exhaust system we sell. And for your bike, we highly recommend the Cobra Fi2000R as it's simple to install and configure for your bike's needs. It has only three adjustment knobs on it, plus the included instructions explain exactly how to set the device for your bike's needs - all without a trip to the dyno. It's a really nice tuner to have!
By DJ Plank
Answer QuestionThere's no need to remove the OEM right side passenger footpeg in order to fit this exhaust to your machine, nor are you required to purchase a passenger relocation bracket. This exhaust will fit your bike without any issue in its stock configuration.

2011 Harley Davidson Street Glide FLHX
Answer QuestionIt's absolutely recommended to update fuel delivery upon the installation of this, or any other full exhaust system. Since the bike is actually fuel-injected (not carbureted), updating fuel delivery is actually pretty simple. To do that, we recommend a Cobra Fi2000R Fuel Controller as it's simple to install and configure. Plus, the included installation instructions do an excellent job of explaining exactly how to set up the device without the need to take a trip to the dyno.
By Matt
Answer QuestionYou only need to purchase a quantity of 1 in order to completely replace the stock exhaust system on your bike. There are two complete exhaust pipes included in the kit - everything you need to outfit one motorcycle with a new Street Glide exhaust system.
By RL H
Answer QuestionYes, in the case of the '16 FLHR, you'll need to use the included brackets to move the floorboards up and out of the way in order to complete the installation of this exhaust. That is to say, you won't need to purchase any additional parts to fit this exhaust to your machine since Cobra includes those brackets for your particular model.
By Joe
Answer QuestionIf you're switching from a completely-stock motorcycle exhaust system to the Speedsters, your bike is going to be a lot louder. That holds true even if you don't remove the included baffles. Of course, if you find it not to be loud enough for your tastes, you could always pull the baffles out. Each one is attached by a single screw that'll take you but a few minutes to remove.
By Ryan
Answer QuestionNope, you won't have any problems with the passenger footpegs on your machine. You will have to un-bolt it to ease installation, but otherwise, it can remain in place once you've finished installing the exhaust to your bike.
By DK
Answer QuestionEach baffle is secured in place with single screw that's on the inner-facing side of each muffler. It's a rather straightforward operation to pull them out (or install) since the baffles are curved to fit inside the exhaust.

Answer QuestionIn the case of the Cobra 2014 FLSTN Speedster Short Swept exhaust, there's no need to remove permanently the passenger footpegs in order to fit the exhaust, nor will you be required to purchase a passenger footpeg relocation kit. This exhaust system is designed to fit that particular bike without the need to remove the stock pillion footpegs.
By Joe
Answer QuestionSo long as you have the OEM exhaust on your machine, there's no need to purchase any additional hardware. This is due to the fact that you'll need to re-use some of the original bolts and mounting brackets on the Softail Vance & Hines exhaust to attach it to your bike. Other than that - no special parts required. One thing, outside of the FLSTN exhaust itself that you may wish to acquire, would be a fuel tuning unit in the form of a Vance & Hines FP3 fuel tuner for the Softail. The unit is simple to install and configure for the new exhaust. The only requirement is that you have an Android or iOS smartphone in order to set it up to work with your exhaust. With that tuner, you'll be able to get the best possible power output and throttle response from your new exhaust system.
By Scott
Answer QuestionNo, these pipes are only designed to fit Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Cobra does produce a very similar set of pipes to fit the 2008 Road Star Warrior in the form of their Speedstar Swept exhaust. About the only different between the Short Swept an the Swept exhaust is where the tips terminate. The Warrior's exhaust exits just behind the rear axle.
By Danny T.
Answer QuestionIt's only when you get into things like aftermarket Dyna Fat Bob passenger floorboard kits that clearance sometimes becomes an issue. So long as it's the stock passenger FXDB footpeg that you have on your machine, you won't run into any interference problems with this exhaust. The same holds true for most aftermarket footpegs on that bike.

Getting k&n filter and v&h fuel pack
Answer QuestionEverything you need for fitting the Cobra Speedster Short Swept 2012 Harley Ultra Limited exhaust to your machine is included in the box. There's no need to purchase any additional FLHTK exhaust installation hardware. With the addition of a K&N Electra Glide air filter and a Vance & Hines FLHTK FP3 Fuelpak - you've got everything you need to make that bike run great!
By tamas
Answer QuestionThere is no fuel tuner included with this, or any other exhaust system that Cobra manufactures. For this particular exhaust and the bike you're riding, we recommend the Vance & Hines Fuelpak FP3 Autotuner be purchased along with it. In this way, you can be assured that you'll be able to adjust your FXSB's ECU to match the fuel requirements of the new exhaust. Also, it will be more than able to account for the Stage 1 kit and air cleaner. All you'll need to set it up correctly is an Android or iOS smartphone and the free FP3 tuning app. Once you install the exhaust, simply set up the FP3 through the aforementioned app to your bike's configuration and you'll be able to get the best possible engine performance and throttle response out of the new Breakout Harley exhaust.
By Wayne
Answer QuestionIf your bike came from the factory with oxygen sensors, then yes - this exhaust will also come with O2 sensor ports on it. You simply need to unscrew the sensors from the stock exhaust and put them on this system when you're putting it on your bike.
By brad
Answer QuestionYes, the exhaust system you're asking about will bolt straight onto the 2013 Dyna Switchback without issue. The only additional thing you will want to do is adjust fueling to suit. In this way, you can be assured the best possible throttle response and engine power output. We recommend the Vance & Hines Fuelpak FP3 Autotuner to go along with the exhaust. Between the combination of the exhaust and the FP3, you can expect excellent performance gains.
By Coach
Answer QuestionIn the case of the 2014 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy, there's no need to relocate the passenger foot pegs in order to install this exhaust. Nor are you required to purchase any additional hardware in order to do the same.
By Mattyduke
Answer QuestionNo, there's no need to remove the passenger footpegs in order to install this exhaust on the 2016 Dyna Wide Glide.
By Jim H
Answer QuestionYes, Cobra Speedster Short Swept exhaust systems come with removable baffles.
By Anon.
Answer QuestionCobra exhausts are designed to fit bikes in the stock configuration, this includes the foot controls that come on the bike from the factory. Most of the time, it isn't an issue - but whenever you're in doubt, just send us a note with your year, make and model - and we'll be happy to help you understand whether or not any exhaust we sell with go with your aftermarket foot controls.
By st joe
Answer QuestionWhile you can probably get away with installing the exhaust by itself, Cobra recommends that you adjust fueling with one of their jet kits. This way, you'll get the best possible throttle response and engine performance. Basically, any time you change the way air gets into or out of, the motor, you'll want to adjust fueling appropriately to maximize any performance gains available from the new setup.
