Answer QuestionYes, this will work with an O-Ring chain. The chain type of chain you have does not matter when it comes to sprockets. What's most important is that you're matching chain size (called chain pitch) to the correct sprocket. If you've got a 520 chain, be it unsealed, Z-Ring, X-Ring &etc., it will work well with this sprocket.

Answer QuestionThat 2008 Yamaha WR250R would have come from the factory with a 520 pitch chain/sprockets. With that said, you should have no problem using this Sunstar 520 sprocket.

Answer QuestionYes, when you go to choose to choose your year, make and model from the drop down you will see that the correct sprocket for that bike is available.
